Overview
About Me
My asian journey is about to end. From the third week of november I will be able to host again in Sicily
I'm an Italian backpacker who loves traveling, meeting people with different cultures, making the world more accesible for everyone. My goal is to visit all the countries in the world. I know, it's ambitious and challenging but not impossibile. I consider myself a sociable person and open minded, I always like to compare myself with others and share each other's experiences. I love motorsport, outdoor activities like trekking and mountain biking, cooking italian food. Usually I work hard for a year, maybe a year and half, in order to save money for my next long term travels.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I joined Couchurfing because I love getting in touch with other people with a totally different culture and background. When I host, I like showing around and making travelers more familiar and knowledgeable about my home country. When I travel, I love to experience the local life, get in touch with local people, see places far from the main touristic attractions. I find more interesting going to the market or having a drink with local rather than visiting hundred monuments. So far I hosted couchsufer at my hometown in Sicily, at my university city in the northen Italy and lately at Melbourne, Birmingham and Malta. On the other side I've been hosted almost everywhere in the world, I have a lot of interesting/funny/dramatic stories to tell.

Music, Movies, and Books
I really love rap music (both american and italian) and all the hip hop culture in general. Most of my travels are inspired by travel documentaries, vlog, on-line series and books. My favourite writers are Bill Bryson, Ryszard Kapuscinski, Dominique Lapierre, Tiziano Terzani, Pino Cacucci and more recently Claudio Pelizzeni and Gianluca Gotto
italian cinema; italian rap, american hip hop; , Dan Brown, Marco De Ambrogio, Gino Strada, Giorgio Bettinelli, Pino Cacucci, Tiziano Terzani and Ryszard Kapuscinski
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I have some curious traveling experiences and stories to tell about but I prefer to share them in person, myabe in front of a good cool beer.
Teach, Learn, Share
More than teaching, I like to share experiences and sometimes skills. Every time that I live an experience of Couchsurfing I like to cook with people that I host or are hosting me. I think it's one of the most beautiful moments of sharing, food allows you to understand a lot of the culture of the person with whom you're comparing.
What I Can Share with Hosts
A good company for sure! I'm happy to share what I've seen around the world, my contacts, tips and reccomendations about places and itineraries
