I'm also very fond of history, photography, writing, the Arctic, passport stamps, bridges, meteorology, folk music and ice hockey. Or just having a beer with friends.

- Getting lost in the old town of Harar, Ethiopia.
- Sitting at the castle hill in Ljubljana, Slovenia, watching an incredible thunderstorm.
- Visiting the amazingly grey and dull cities of Nikel and Norilsk in northern Russia.
- Walking the wooden streets of Kampong Ayer, a part of Brunei's capital Bandar Seri Begawan.
- Everything that has to do with New Zealand!
