About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Pocałuj kota i kopnij lodówkę

ABOUT ME

I live in Thuin (french speaking part of Belgium) with my girlfriend Emeline. Thuin is a really nice place with a lot of history not so far from Brussel south airport.
I like to spend time with my friends as much as possible and I'm waiting all year long for 2 things : my hollidays and "St-Roch" in Thuin !
I'd like to travel all around the world to discover a lot of things and people.
I'm interested in History, football (soccer), music, tourism, hiking, geography,... I like to speak foreign languages.

PHILOSOPHY

Don't cry because it's finished but smile because it happened... hard to execute :)
Always staying positive

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I suspended my accoun during a few years but now I'd like to start again.
I like to host people and to show them my city. I also like to talk with people about their country, culture,... to meet new people and to speak with them even if it's only 2 hours in a pub, a train,...

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I was hosted and I hosted a few times. It was so great. I can't imagine travelling in another way than couchsurfing with a sleepbag, the minimum to travel and a lot of Belgian beers and chocolate :) Thanks to some CS experiences, I met really nice people with who I still in contact and meet them again.
I also try to help people who wants to visit my region or who needs a place while they wait their plane (Thuin is not so far from Brussel's south airport).
Hosting is also a way of travelling. I had really good times with people who stayed in my place

Interests

History, geography, tennis, travelling, time with friends, music and (last but not least) the ST-ROCH in Thuin ! I also like trip and parties which are decided in a few minutes round a glass of beer with friends.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Going to the Cannes Festival (south of France) after a 5 day party. Nothing was planned and we slept on the beach every nights. It was really funny because we were wearing short, t-shirt, sandals,... while all people were with their tuxedo,... and other epic experiences :)

Teach, Learn, Share

I like to see differences between Belgium and other countries in the way to live. I can share the art of cooking french fries :) or to eat hot smashed apple "compote" typical from Belgium. I also like to discover new taste, new music groups,...
