My name is Simen (pronounced Simon) and when I am not at my day-job to make ends meet, I spend my time making and releasing music, running a small record company, reading, yoga, meditation, cooking and going out dancing with friends. I am also a DJ when I get to play timeless disco, funk, italo and electro etc.

I also spend my time continuously improving stuff in my small home, and have just startet to look into carpentry so I can build my own solutions for space and storage. I love plants and I am planning to cultivate a small vegetable parcel at home to grow my own food, learning by doing, before expanding that to a larger garden-project to improve self-sustainability.

I have a Masters of Philosophy in Psychology, and my day-job is helping workplaces (hospitals, schools and kinder-gardens) to prevent and manage sick leave, finding solutions for employees with a difficult health-situation to keep their work.

I believe in empathy towards all beings and in sustainability in the choices I make.

To me, saying "yes to life" means balancing fun, energetic and learning experiences with finding time to be quiet, calm and mindful.
