CURRENT MISSION

Bring light into the lives of others, thats mostly it really. I'm currently bicycling across the country from my home town of Gainesville, FL, up to the Pacific NW for the winter.

ABOUT ME

I committed myself to 4.5 years at the University of FL and so decided to get a bachelors in social studies at the University of Life for apprx. 4.5 years. Hence, I am currently on said bike trip (summer 2011). I enjoy all things sincere and those things sincerely sweet are especially attractive to me. I find much of my inspiration outdoors and wish to partake in the natural splendors of this wide nation. I'm interested in food systems, people, laughter, education, and social betterment through empowerment. I do not like oppression, thoughtless destruction, or apathy. I love music tho I am not wildly talented.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

As of yet I have never actually Couch Surfed, I Have informally surfed on the couches of many a find folk who have so splendidly opened their lives and homes to me, I have WWOOFed a bit in New Zealand. I have also opened my home, in Gainesville when I lived there, to many of travelers who were happened upon. I feel I make both a fine host and hostee, currently I am in the position of the latter. Cheers!

none through the website. However, I have hosted plenty of travelers and have been hosted as a traveler a multitude of times. The whole exchange
is not foreign to me one bit.

Intereses

Oh, grand adventures, minor adventures, kind people, not so kind people who may really be kind people if they understood how beautiful life can be, bicycle touring, food production, the ocean blue, gardening, ecology, saving the world, social justice, baby birds, hydrology, adult birds, wild crafting, baking, fermentation, global social economy, how the world got to be where it is today, the state the world is in today, where the world is going, and where my role lies within.
