ABOUT ME

Born and raised in the mountains I have an affinity for the outdoors. Not just any outdoors though. I was born in Alaska, raised in Colorado and would love to live in Interlaken Switzerland. So along with the extreme places I like the extreme sports. I’m an ex-downhill ski racer, college runner, and a wannabe triathlete. I try not to take myself too seriously and am an easy one to make laugh. My friends say I eat too healthy, I say I just like weird foods. I have an endless number of hobbies and a terrible habit of starting new ones. Everything is an adventure and I am always driven to explore what’s around that next corner.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

My adventures are centered on authentic travel experiences, mingling with the locals and learning their culture, then promoting CS and all my experiences through SMU Travel Bug: www.smutravelbug.com. Couch surfing will allow me and my travel buddies to do this.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I am looking forward to creating more of these experiences as I travel! Me and my two travel buddies, Cody and Shelley backpacked Europe for six weeks and through couch surfing hoped to further immerse ourselves in the culture by staying with the locals!
