Overview
About Me
I am a sporty, polite University student with a desire to travel and see new places and meet new people. I have three younger brothers who I love to see when at home and a wonderful girlfriend. I am a Christian, but don't impose this on anyone and love to hear about different religions and cultures.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I believe the best way to experience a place and be immersed in the culture is to be with people who live in the area. This is what attracts me to coachsurfing so much, having the chance to learn what locals can share about where they live, getting to know the best places to go and find places which perhaps show the richest parts of their culture which few tourists get to know about.
Interests
I play guitar, love sport (mainly football, rugby and running), enjoy playing board/card games, learning new things, having good conversations, listening to music, going on walks and much more!

Music, Movies, and Books
I love most music, stuff I listen to generally includes:
Ed Sheeran, The Killers, Red Hot Chilli Peppers, The Kooks, Jack Johnson, Coldplay, Oasis, The Script, Noah and the Whale, Boy, and so much more!!
Movies, got to love Lord of the Rings, The Hunger Games are cool to watch, I enjoy comedy a lot too, Rowen Atkinson is funny!
As for books, I'm generally having to read a lot in my course, so tend to relax by playing sport or doing other things rather than reading, maybe I'll get back into it when I have more time!
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I have been to Uganda to teach the Alpha course with my parish group. I led a small group with the locals and gave a talk in front of hundreds of pupils at one of the girls schools we visited, it was terrifying having such a large audience! It meant a lot to the people we came to see, we were originally confused as to why people were turning up 1, 2, 3, 4 hours late to the event, it turned out most had been travelling for a long time to get there, some even getting close to 12 hours... which was quite touching. Whilst there we had many amazing moments, going on a safari for a day and travelling up the White Nile to view the Murchison Falls.
Teach, Learn, Share
If you want to know how the body works, I'm your man!
I did triple science maths at A level and have currently finished my first year at University in Cambridge doing medicine, so, I know a reasonable amount of science!
I also play guitar (although it has been a while since I last used it!)
I'm always up for learning new things, making exotic dishes, learning more about the culture of different places, I'm rather inquisitive.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I like to think I provide good conversation - good company! I can help with cooking, washing up etc. If you need an extra person for sport I'm your man!
