Hello, everyone!

I'm Simon, 31 years old, soon to be 32 (very soon) I am an ecologist, the scientific type ecologist, I have a degree in ecology. (I have encountered much confusion with many people on a french language learning app over me saying I am an ecologist 😅). I like to design and build furniture. I really like to design and build a lot of things. I dream of one day, either building my own house or finding an old dilapidated house and renovating it. I like to sew too... yes, it's true... bags, clothes, anything. I generally like to be creative, I am good with my hands. I like hiking. I like to go for walks or bike rides. Walks with a pinic in a beautiful place, blue sky, with a small wicker basket filled with tasty food and a pretty little picnic blanket to sit on... okay, I'll move on... 😳. I love music, but seriously, who doesn't love music? I'd say I can cook but I think they is for others to decide 😆

Music, Movies, and Books

I will listen to most Genres of music. As for books, well most of my books are either ecology/nature related or photography books (Frans Lanting is a firm favourite).

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I spent many months in Linwonde National Park, Malawi working on a bat research project. Such an amazingly beautiful place, and country.
