People say that I have adopted the optimistic mentality of my heinish home region and merged it with the liberal attitudes of Germany's south. Well, I guess this is right :-)

As a political person, I am highly interested in how people in other countries conduct their mutual affairs. Having spent some time in the UK and Turkey, I feel more like a European than a German.

I love dancing (folk and clubbing), hiking, intellectual conversations, poetry and philosophy.

Couchsurfing is such a brilliant idea to get people together. On my hike trips, I have met so many nice and charming people, and I am always happy to offer my sofa to new people sharing the same experience.
