HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Granja de permacultura Patagonica Patagonian Permaculture Farm

We have a 3 hectare plot of native woodland, organic farm/orchard and flower garden in the
Mallin Ahogado area, 16 km North of the town of El Bolson (130 km South of Bariloche, Argentine Patagonia).
People come for the mountain climbing, hiking and horse riding, river and lake
fly fishing, winter skiing and the well known artisan market.
Other natural attractions near by include rivers with bathing pools and waterfalls. The neighbourhood consists
of small farms and a varied international comunity.
There is a regular bus cervice to El Bolson and a small local shop for food.

Exchange:
I am a young farmer with a vision of a selfe sustaning freedom looking for people to share a permacultural experience and accomodation (tents) in exchange for a few hours work (3 or 4 hours a day).

I am in the process of converting the farm from the traditional to a more modern style of agriculture.
People who are iterested in learning about cold climate permaculture (Holzer style), forest fire management/damage limitation,
natural construction, recycling, aimal care and selfe sufficiency.
Other tasks include harvesting, planting, wood collecting, grass cutting, clay digging,
woodland management, landscape gardening and car mechanics.

Facilities:
Electricity, running water, shower, washing machine, DRY OR COMOSTER TOILET(if you dont know what one is google it now), fuel and cooking facilities and plenty of camping space.

Tenemos un lote de 3 hectarias de bosque nativo, granja organica/huerto de frutales y flores en la localidad de
Mallin Ahogado, 16km norte del pueblo de El Bolson (130km sur de Bariloche, Patagonia Argentina).
Gente viene para la escalada de montanas, caminatas y cabalgatas, pesca con mosca en rios y lagos, temporada de esqui y la
famosa feria artesanal.
Otras atracciones naturales cercanas incluyen rios con pozones de natacion y cataratas. El vecindario consiste de pequenas
granjas y una comunidad internacional variada.
Hay un servicio de colectivos regulares a El Bolson y una despensa para comida.

Intercambio:

Soy un granjero joven con una vision de libertad autosuficiente buscando personas para compartir una experiencia permacultural y acomodacion (Carpa, Tienda) en intercambio por unas horas de trabajo (3 o 4 horas diarias).

Estoy en el proceso de convertir la granja de lo tadicional a un estilo mas moderno de agricultura.
La gente que le interesa aprender de permacultura de clima frio (estilo Holzer), gestion de incendios/limitacion de dano,
construccion natural, reciclaje, cuidado de animales y auto suficiencia.
Otras tareas incluyen cosechar, plantar, juntar madera, cortar pasto, excavacion de arcilla, direccion de bosque y gardineria
paisajista.

Instalaciones:
Electicidad, agua corriente, ducha, lavaropa, BANO SECO(si no sabes lo que es googlealo ya) combustible y cocina y abundante lugar para acampar.
