About Me

Trying to do what makes me (and also others) happy.
Striving to make the earth a better place to live - even if only by a very small margin.

I'm an easy-going information scientist and orienteering athlete from Switzerland that is open to explore the world. I'm trying to get out of my comfort zone and go on adventures with new people.
Apart of all that I'm also enjoying to document the world as I see it in photographs and - also important - I like to juggle ;-).

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'd like to get to know new people all around the world and get an easy way to interact with locals and to benefit from their knowledge. I strongly believe that living with locals will give me a more authentic experience of the country than just booking a hotel and pass by at the tourist's office.

Music, Movies, and Books

I enjoy listen to nearly every kind of music apart of rap, but the genre I like most are EDM (With Alan Walker and K391 as my favourites) and - if it needs to be a little softer - some kind of film music with lots of emotion.
My favourte movies are "Forrest Gump" and "Chasing Mavericks", but mostly I'm whatching action or comedy movies.
About the book's choice, I'd clearly say the ones from Harry Potter. But I stopped reading a while ago just because I have no spare time left to do that (excuses - I know).

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The Swiss Orinteering Weeks are always a great experience, just having fun in the mountains and enjoing the time. Apart of that, the biggest thing I've done so far is a volunteering stage in Chile, where I helped locals to further expand and better know this sport. If you get to know me you'll find out I had other great experiences...

Teach, Learn, Share

As a very curious person you can entertain me with a lot of stories, experiences or even with science. On the other hand, I will gladly tell you everything about my trip to Chile (it was fun) or other great experiences. If you're bored by that, then I may teach you how to juggle or protect you best from the dangers of the Internet.

Generally I try to improve my language skills, so I like to practice any language I (somewhat) know.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I'd like to get to know you better, and to do so I will also share my experiences with you. Great talks are always appreciated.
And at the end of all, I'll make sure to get you the best pictures of my stay...
