Hey, I'm Simon from Melbourne, Australia. I recently packed up my bags and moved to Phnom Penh, Cambodia to teach English for 12 months and to experience another way of life. I'm brand new to Couchsurfing (so have no references right now) but I'm looking forward to meeting fellow couchsurfers from all walks of life.

I arrived in Cambodia February 27, 2016. I've been exploring some of the country from Kampot to Siem Reap and are currently staying in a Phnom Penh guesthouse. I've got myself a 12 month visa and am looking to teach English soon in the city. Before finding my own permanent place to live I would very much like to connect with Khmer locals and/or expats living in Phnom Penh so I can get the lowdown on life in this vibrant capital. I'm keen to learn about places to go out, great eating spots, good places to live, where to see live music, and just any insider tips you may like to share.
