To meet new people, have fun interactions, be involved and share when traveling. Also because I like to travel and I'm on a small budget.

Interests

I have a curious mind and want to try, discover, experience a lot of things. Most of the year I live in a big city where I LOVE to bike, go see live music, spend evenings with friends in parks during the warmer months :) Hiking and camping, being surrounded by the natural world is a pleasure, and I like to find the balance between the excitement of city and the calm of nature. I'm also interested in community organisations that build alternative forms of solidarity.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music is a way to explore, I keep an open mind and listen to Gyspy folk like Tintamarre or Canailles, rap like MFDoom, Rapsody, Jazz from Alfa mist to Anouar Brahem, Christian Scott, Mark Guiliana, Rock like king gizzard, kikagaku moyo, somali yacht club, many more. Very much liked "Comment faire l'amour avec un n---- sans se fatiguer" by Danny Laferrière, his writing building a beautiful image of summer Montreal. City of God, Trainspotting.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I still view hiking in snowshoes to the top of a small mountain in Quebec to build a quinzee with friends and have a beautiful time winter camping as an amazing experience.

Teach, Learn, Share

I spend some of my time every week volunteering in a community bike shop where everyone is welcome to repair their bikes for free. I like to learn about everything through people, activities, experiences, books, travels. I like to learn and understand the world we live in on a human level.
