About Me

I'm still in college and love traveling. I have a wide range of interests and hope to be an author someday. My ultimate dream is to travel the world while supporting myself through writing. I'm always excited to try something new, especially if it's food, and want to chase adventure and get to know interesting people around the world!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

This seems like a great place to find a community while traveling, something I fear I'd struggle with otherwise while traveling solo.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: Muse to Yes, Daft Punk to Banks, Talking Heads, Goat, MJ...pretty eclectic mix

Movies: Blade Runner! Anything Tarantino, Goodfellas, Star Wars, LOTR.

Books: Island, Brave New World, Doors of Perception. Heart of Darkness, Man in the High Castle, Siddhartha.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

It's a bit random...I collected, grew (farmed) and sold rare live corals.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach cooking - I especially enjoy toying with new takes on East Asian cuisine. I can also help out with whatever creative projects you're working on.

I'm open to learning just about anything; I like talking about most topics so long as it can lead to meaningful conversation. Also, I'd of course want to learn the ins and outs of wherever I travel, what the locals like, the best places to eat, chill and party.

I'm really trying to push myself and grow as a person. I tire pretty quickly of life within the comfort zone. So if there's some place weird or interesting you've been wanting to see, or something new you want to try, I'd be glad to accompany you! (Though I'm not a huge adrenaline junkie. Adventure to me doesn't just mean Bungie Jumping and stuff like that.)

What I Can Share with Hosts

An eagerness to explore and try something new. I can help cook too (at one point I wanted to open my own restaurant).
