Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am living in a flatshare with 9 other people from different countries, and it's awesome to learn incredible things about other cultures and listen to their stories. I couldn't live alone (I would be bored to death) and staying alone at a hotel when you are travelling is even worse. The reason why I am travelling is to explore a foreign country with all its culture and customs, improve language skills and connect to the people living there... and that is difficult to achieve in a hotel room :)
And I think the best way to get to know the other culture is staying at a local's place
You are also able to create first connections and friendships in a yet unknown city
Two years ago I was studying for one semester in Madrid where I lived in an amazing house with more than 20 international students
Now I'm living in a flatshare in Singapore.

Interests

I am a big sports fan... I've been playing soccer and table tennis for many years in a team and I also like playing tennis from time to time. Besides, I enjoy watching sports as well :)
But I also like reading books, spending time outside, going out with friends, travelling, watching movies & series, ...
And I love beer.
