About Me

Hey, thx for visiting my profile! I grew up in a tiny village in Switzerland with a lake right next door, which sparked my passion for swimming. Nowadays, I live in Bern and love spending time by the river.

Sports play a big role in my life. Running and swimming have been with me for a long time, and recently I started discovering cycling. At the moment it feels like an exciting new chapter, and perhaps one day it will all come together in a triathlon. For me, sport is not just about training, but about the joy of movement and sharing experiences with others.

I like to keep a balance between adventure and reflection. I follow Stoic ideas, focusing on what I can influence and not worrying too much about what I cannot. At the same time, I enjoy humor and spontaneity, because life without laughter (and without cheese, if you are Swiss) would be a bit too dry.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am here mainly to meet people and exchange cultures. Both of my younger brothers had unforgettable experiences through Couchsurfing, and their stories inspired me to try it myself. I believe that hospitality is not about free accommodation but about human connection and the exchange that stays with you long after the trip is over. Discovering how people in other places live their daily lives.

Music, Movies, and Books

I am not really into movies or films. From time to time I pick up a book that someone recommends to me, and I enjoy it when it catches my curiosity. When it comes to music, I mostly listen to local Swiss folk music, which feels like home to me. But I am always open to discovering what other people are into.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Bungee jumping gave me a rush, but running a marathon taught me the value of discipline and endurance. Both moments stay with me as reminders that stepping out of your comfort zone is always worth it.

Teach, Learn, Share

I am happy to share my passion for sports and training routines, but also my curiosity for good conversations, whether about philosophy, culture, or everyday life. I can cook simple meals, and even though my skills are limited, everything tastes better when cheese is involved.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can share stories from Switzerland, a sense of humor, and a respectful attitude. I enjoy contributing by cooking something together, joining in on an activity, or simply being an easygoing guest who appreciates both fun and quiet time.
