Hey
my name is Simon. I just finished school and so I have enough time now to travel all over Europe by hitchhiking. In the last few years I went on some cool journeys, but non of them wheren`t longer than to weeks and so I`m very excited to travel for a longer time now.
The reason why I`ll try to do it by hitchhiking is that in my opinion it is one of the best ways to travel because its so spontaneous and can`t get boring. You meet new people every day and you dont know where you will be in the evening when you wake up in the morning.

Futhermore I`m very interested in other people and their lives and would like to join them for a little time. Probably this is also the reason why I became a part of the couchsurfing community. It`s a special way to learn new people by living a little time with them and I can´t wait to make this experience.

I`m also always interested in trying and learning new things. So if you have a special interest or hobby wich you would like to share with me I would be very happy.

Musik: mainly ska, punk and alternative rock but interested in any other kind of musik to so Im excited to listen to yours
Books: Terry Pratched and lots of Fantasy when I was younger (recently I didnt read that much books)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

At my first hitchhike journey I met a very cool guy at the first day. He immediately invited me to his home, introduced me to his sister and his friends and offered me a place to sleep. At the next day he took me to his job (he was surf teacher) and we also went to a skate park and had two very nice days together. That was before I knew about couchsurfing and this experience inspired me a lot, because even if we hadn`t knew each other at all, we had a great time together and I learned a lot.
