Hello,

My name is Simon and I am originally from Ravensburg, Germany. I am studying development studies in Vienna, Austria; if you ask yourself what that means, I try to give a brief definition below*. Currently I am doing an exchange year at a Parisian University in order to specialize on political and economical topics. But this is not the only reason why I am in Paris; I also love Paris because it is a city in which in my opinion lots of cultures are mixed.

In my spare time I like to read, go to the cinema, do sports (mostly jiu-jitsu) and go into the nature. The last one is what I miss the most being in Paris.

Personally, I'd consider myself as a very pleasant and empathic fellow, who doesn't talk to much, but likes interesting discussions about everything around life. I am clean, uncomplicated and also a good company at hiking, cultural or bar tours :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I like to meet people and the 'real' culture of places, not an ordinary weekend hotel trip.
