Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Right now, just looking for places to stay as I travel. Looking forward to hosting in the future when I have a place of my own.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Most of my couchsurfing experience comes from a recent trip through Europe where I met wonderful people and had a great time playing music, going for hikes, eating, and learning about many countries throughout Europe.

Interests

Right now I'm really leaning into my goals as a musician and songwriter. Setting aside most of my other interests for now to really focus on that. I do still love to take hikes, learn about plants and animals, dance, and learn new recipes though!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The first thing that comes to mind was my first performance at Carnegie Hall. I was an 11 year old boy who had just been called up to the Concert Choir of the American Boychoir. After two months of rehearsal we went to NYC to perform the American premier of Paul McCartney's Ecce Chor Meum, a classical orchestral and choral piece. After rehearsing in the bowls of Carnegie Hall we changed into our tuxedos and made the surprisingly long walk up to the stage left room. After waiting a few minutes we got the go-ahead and filed on stage. The orchestra had already been set up and the adult choir was there as well. I was one of the first people to walk on stage and file over to our seats. I stood at my seat waiting for the rest of the chior to get to there seats. As I stood there I looked up at the breathtaking arquitecture and artwork of the hall, the lights and the thousands of people in the audience. I had never felt so alive in my life. I could feel the blood pulsing through my veins. I was aware of every part of my body, so much so that I almost forgot to sit down. The concert itself went very well and afterwards Sir Paul greeted us and shook our hands as we walked off stage.
