Hey, my name is Simon, I'm 27 and I'm living Bonn, Germany. My friends say I'm open minded, talkative and social. I enjoy being active and spending time outside, but sitting somewhere and relaxing or having a good conversation is also great.

I spend a lot of time with friends and they're really important to me. I also love traveling and meeting all different kinds of people because I think people can only profit from it.

I don't go to nightclubs much probably because I'm a terrible dancer, haha

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

I couchsurfed in India in 2012 and 2014 to get to know the country and to see things that "regular tourists" usually don't get to see. I wanted to get to know the people and their culture, see how they live, not only look as sights all the time. I met the nicest people ever, some are still very good friends. I had a lot of fun and great experiences.

I also had a great expereice with couchsurfing in Cambodia in 2015.

I liked my CS experiences so much. It just opens up so many more great opportunities when compared to a stay in a hotel or hostel.

I also like exploring rural areas, I like the quiet and peace and often it's so different when compared to the cities.

兴趣

I'm a passionate baseball player, I'm on the field or in the gym at least 5 days a week. I am also a coach for a youth baseball team.

As I mentioned before my friends are really important to me, too. We hang out a lot, discuss various topics, such as politics, philosophy, religion, pretty much everything, and we support each other.

I love travelling, getting to know cultures and meeting people from all over the world. I also love food, especially Asian food. I like cooking, too!

I love music, especially rap music. But in most kinds of music there is at least a band or album or whatever that I like. Lately I've been into punk rock.

I like movies with unexpected plot twists. Action, thrillers, drama, there are a lot of good movies out there. Currently I'm really into Kitano Takeshi movies.

I love reading, though I can't seem to find the time to read as much as I would like to. My favorite book is Siddhartha by Hesse.
