Hi! I grew up in Ottawa, Canada and then moved around to a few different cities for 10 years before moving back to Ottawa for work. I love ridings mountain bikes and dirt jumps, and typically travel to do one of those things, taking in other activities, sights and trying to party a little bit if possible. I used to be an avid musician, played bass in a few bands in Sudbury and Toronto when I was in University and have a background in Classical music and Jazz keyboard. Recently I have been learning to dance Salsa, Mambo and Bachata, and wouldn't mind trying that out in a different place as well. I'm super easy going, I can stay up late or go to bed early, and really enjoy listening to music, having conversations, and seeing new spots. I used to work as a line cook so if you want to cook together I'm game!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I created a profile recently because I am travelling to Barcelona and would much rather get to know someone and hang out instead of staying in an Airbnb. Now that I see what this platform is, it has inspired me to think of other places to go, and become a host in my own home once my renovations are done (don't even have a couch right now but will in a few months).
