关于我
CURRENT MISSION
Save up enough money and find time to go on a RTW travel.
ABOUT ME
I'm a fun loving, easy going person. I love to meet new and interesting people. I love to travel, but somehow didn't have enough money or time to do that more extensivelly. I'd like to make up for it with a RTW travel somewhere in the near future (3 years or so).
PHILOSOPHY
Do I need one?

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
While traveling the East coast of US we stayed several days with a friend of a friend in Washington, D.C.. Not really a member of CS community, but the idea was preety much the same. We slept on her couch, she showed us around, she even cooked for us... and it was GREAT. Best time we had in all three weeks. That's why we decided to join CS community.
So far we've hosted:
- Pierre-Luc from Canada
- Art and Leah from Canada
- Myriam and Lianne from Canada
- Sarah from Canada

音乐、电影和书籍
Music
I don't have favourite kind of music, I listen to (almost) everything, mostly to R'n'B, Hip Hop, Pop... I love oldies such as Frank Sinatra, Aretha Franklin, The Supremes...
Movies
Apart from horror movies and some real artistic experimental stuff I pretty much watch everything. I wanna have fun watching a movie and not think too much. Recent films I liked were:
- Stranger than fiction
- The Departed
- Wit
- Hot Fuzz

- Tami Hoag
教,学,和分享
I'm not going to teach you any handy crafts as I am not very good at any. I'm sure you don't want to hear me talking about economic theories and stuff like that. But I can show you the thing I really love - Slovenia.
Sightseeing
There are some "must see" places in Slovenia. Sure, they're "touristy", but for a reason. If you're in Slovenia, you must visit:
- Ljubljana
- Bled and even more so Bohinj, two beautiful lakes in Slovenian Alps.
- Piran and Portoroz
- Karst region
- Maribor and Ptuj, Maribor beeing second largest city in the country and Ptuj one of the oldest, both situated in the north-eastern part of the country, by the river Drava.
- Bovec with its beautiful emerald river Soca . The valley of Soca and its surrounding hills were the seting of one ot the biggest fronts in WW I, the Soca (Isonzo) front, also a setting of famous Ernest Hemingway's novel A Farewell To Arms and a film set, where a sequel to Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian is beeing shot.
- Lipica and its famous stud farm
- Postojna and Skocjan caves
- ...
Activities
You can do all sorts of things in Slovenia. Due to its small size and the fact that within 200 km you can find Adriatic sea, Alps and Panonian plain, there's something for anybody.
- skiing
- rafting, canyoning, hydro speed
- paragliding and sky diving
- mountain biking
- hiking and trekking
- diving
- riding a hot air baloon
- visiting one of the adrenalin parks
- or just relaxing in one of many spas
Slovenian cuisine
Once you're in Slovenia, you must try Slovenian food and wine.
Culture
Of course there is opera and ballet in Ljubljana and in Maribor. There's also Slovenian Philharmonic Orcestra in Ljubljana. Of course, lots of museums and galleries.
Here you can find list of major events in 2007. There are some festivals in Slovenia well worth visiting such as:
- Festival Lent in Maribor
- Trnfest in Ljubljana
- Rock Otocec
- Soca Reggae Riversplash
- Jazz Festival in Ljubljana
- Ana Desetnica in Ljubljana
- Festival Ljubljana
- Metal Mania
- Film Festival in Ljubljana
- ...
Did you know that...
- if you are ever to lose a phone, Ljubljana is the best city in the world to do it.
- the song Na Golici by Slavko Avsenik and his Ensamble is the most played instrumental song in Europe.
- Few in number and crazy as hell, this are Slovenian sportsmen, which are known for their extremes: Davo Karnicar, the first person in the world to ski from highest mountains of all continents; Martin Strel, holder of many marathon swimming records, including tha latest - swiming the entire length of Amazon river; Jure Robic, winner of several RAAMs, the world's toughest bike race; Dusan Mravlje, ultra-marathon runner, winner of run across America in 1995; Bobri, a rafting team that won three unofficial and two official World Rafting Championships
- for over a dacade, Leon Stukelj was the oldest Olympic gold medalist
- the world's oldest wodden wheel and musical instrument were both found in Slovenia
- the oldest vine in Europe (and probably in the World) can be found in Maribor
