I'm a student in the UK. I spend most of my time snowboarding, Drumming and listening to music (Ska,Punk,Metal and much much more). Also enjoy watching films, reading books, playing football, travelling and meeting new people.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'm pretty new to this, so have yet to participate properly. I'm living with 6 friends up in Leeds and have a couple of couches which are usually empty. I'm travelling soon with one of my housemates around europe so am hoping to get a lot more involved with couch surfing.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

As it stands, I've had no experience with the project. I've heard good things and read some stories which make me want to get involved, though.

Interests

Snowboarding and drumming are two huge parts of my life. I've been playing drums for a few years now and have played with many different people. I try to get onto the mountains several times a year but living in Leeds makes that pretty hard, so my snowboarding is limited to dry-slope and indoor snowdomes during term-time. I listen to a lot of music, ranging from folky acoustic stuff right through to punk and metal, which provides a pretty sweet starting point for conversations with new people.

A few of my favourite films are Shaun of the Dead, baseketball, Snatch, Fight Club, Hot Fuzz and Trainspotting...

Into all sorts of music. some of my favourite bands are Sublime, Pepper, Less Than Jake, Pantera, Clutch, King Blues and the list goes on...

I try to read a lot and tend to just pick up any book that's lying around. I like reading books by Irvine Welsh and Chuck Palahniuk among others
