Hi there,

My name is Simona and I am 20 years old. The main reason why I have just joined couch surfing is that I love travelling, well I guess like everybody else here. I haven't manage to visit a lot of countries though :D. But that is something I want to change and that's why I am here. Sometimes I travel with my friends, sometimes with my family and sometimes even alone. I love to discover new countries, new cultures and the most, new people. I am from Czech Republic but last year when I had to choose where to go to university, I decided that I want to go to England, so here I am. Studying in England my bachelor degree. As you can imagine, I am in contact with a lot of international students and that encourages me to travel more and to discover new cultures - it is so interesting that every single person has own stories and habits from countries they are from. Sometimes it is hard for me to understand their habits or their behaviour because I am not used to in from my country. But that's why I have decided to travel more - to experience the country, to understand their habits and to meet new people.

Music, Movies, and Books

About music - I think I am the type of person who likes more than just one style of music. I can listen main stream music which everyone knows but I can also listen oldies (like 70's, 80's). I don't even mind listening rap / hiphop especially when I am walking in the street and I have this music really loud in my headphones and I feel like the world belongs to my and that I am super cool :D. And lately I have been listening reggaeton because I have Spanish friends who love it and honestly, now I love it too!

Movies - uuu, that one is hard :D, I guess, I don't know... I like a lot of movies especially the ones on Netflix :D.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Well, I believe that was deciding to move to London on my own when I was 18 years old - find a job and be able to live on my own, without my parents and had to take care of myself.

Teach, Learn, Share

I love to learn new languages. I can speak fluently English and Czech, but lately I have been trying to learn Russian, German and Spanish. Well to be honest it is sooooo hard. But I know that one day I will manage it - maybe someone of you can help me with that :) or I can help someone with English.
