Well, I haven't got much CouchSurfing experience so far..few hosts and surfers, but they all were kind people and somehow strengthened my wish to participate in CS even more.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've seen a guy in Estonia who changed the attick of his house into a pretty special couchsurfing place. He hosted over 700 people under his roof. I'd like to do the same when I grow up.
