I'm a 28 years old man, living in Lausanne Switzerland. I studied sociology in the University of Lausanne (specialization: social policy) and now work for Terre de Homme an humanitarian NGO. I was born in a small village in the mountain. I have two sisters living in Switzerland too.
I would love to share some time with anyone, talk and have fun. I'm here to enjoy the beauty of life!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I know couchsurfing by a long time now, but I have never really experimented yet, just two cases in Iran. I was first a bit discouraged about that because I’m not a big internet fan and I never really plan my trips. But my experiences in Iran was so amazing for me, to be with some local people that are so friendly with you, that I try to go as often as possible on that website. What I want from my couch experience is to spend time with someone to discuss about the way they live (sociology!), it can be politics, philosophy, food, or anything!!

Interests

My main interest is for sure travelling; I have been taught this beautiful hobby by my parents who took me and my sister for a one year trip when I was a child. Since, I have to move as much as possible, by foot, on my bicycle or any type of conveyances! But I’m also interested in sports, such as bicycle, mountain running, hiking, and a bit all the sports! I love going to concert, especially when you can dance like a freak! And I love many many more things….
And for sure I love to read and my studies in History (especially the Roman Empire) and all the social science (psychology, sociology…)

Music, Movies, and Books

I have to confess that I don’t know much about music. I like music in concert (such as rock, hard rock…) but I never really listen to music in my home… about movies: so many are my favorite that it’s difficult to make a choice. I love Science fiction movies, history movies, comedies, …
It is a bit the same for the books, I read a bit everything. I always travel with a book. I love history book when I’m travelling to know a bit more about the place otherwise I love books like Isaak Asimov, Tolkien, Wilbur smith, max gallo, and so more….

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I think that the thing I’m the most proud of is that I went studying one year in Istanbul, but the thing is that I went there from Switzerland with my bicycle, and the way back too! It was so a beautiful way of traveling that I will do that every year now!

I can talk hours of history to anyone wants to listen to me!!
Except that I love talking about many subjects, but I’m more intellectual than artistic… And I love working with my hands too; I rebuild two houses and have done my camping car, so if you need some help in your house I can help!
