About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Find out what makes me happy in life, and explore it to the fullest. AND GO TO PARIS THIS SUMMER!

ABOUT ME

I'm simple. I have no problem being alone enveloped in my own solitude, but more than anything I love meeting new people and just SOCIALIZING. I love meeting people, and making new friends, sounds very cheesy but REALLY, I do. I love art, all kinds of it. Mostly graphic arts and photography. I love drawing. I love short sentences. Writing is something I really like to do, challenges me to say normal things in complicated and clever ways. I want to go EVERYWHERE, and meet EVERYONE. I think it's wicked Obama got elected, big sigh of relief there! I actually enjoy going to school, but I think teaching methods are outdated, inefficient and students are bored over here. I try to keep focus on things I want to get out of life. I believe in God, I love sports, I brush my teeth in the morning. I smoke, try to stay away from cigarettes though. I have two tattoos, no piercings, I'm from Quebec, moved to Saskatchewan in 2000. My great great uncle is a fascinating character, Jules Nicolas Crevaux, French explorer. I want to go to France and find out about my culture, my people and my ancestors' country! I grew up in Sherbrooke, Quebec and still speak french fluently, I just don't do very well gramatically since I haven't been in french school since grade 5, but we continued to speak it at home.

PHILOSOPHY

Never stop believing in the good of humanity.
Give people chances, and develop your own place in the world.
Live for whatever it is you are passionate about, and try to leave this place better than when you got here.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

For now, I just heard about this. I want to find out who is involved in my own city, maybe meet with them. I am open to meeting with anyone from around the world that for some odd reason feel the need to come to this EVER SO INTERESTING PLACE. Just kidding, it's alright. And.. I think this is a really cool idea and I hope to find out more about it so I can go to Paris this summer for 3 weeks! I want to get a good taste of the nightlife and meet lots of people! I also want to tour around a lot of museums, all the major monuments but more importantly the less well known areas that are equally interesting. I've been reading a bit about Rue Montorgueil and that is definitely a place I want to check out when I go to Pairs. Apparently I have a great aunt, that lives there, Bleuette, hopefully I get to meet her, and my mom tells me I have LOTS of family in Belgium, given that my grandpa's brother had 10 kids.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

NONE :)
I hope to have plenty in the future though.
I am going to Paris in the summer, probably from the 13th to the 31st. I really want to do it through couch surfing, so right now I am trying to get fully verified and get in touch with a couple CSer's so I can stay in multiple places for the duration of my trip and meet LOTS OF PEOPLE.

I once witnessed a cat give birth to a tiger, HA, had you there for a sec.
Um... getting my grandpa's tattoo was pretty amazing.
I've seen the sun set!
