I'm Simon, a Dutch playwright and nature lover.
Probably look a little older and more tired than in those pictures ; )

I'm new to the US. I'll be in the states for a few months, travelling Idaho, Utah and Wyoming for research on a project about wilderness living and the goat packing community. (Yes, there is such a thing! Yes, someone should write a play about that yesterday.)

I'd love to meet new people for coffee or a hike/trip, and of course I'm also looking for some places to crash (or set up my tent).
I've booked some extra "free" time on my trip so if there's a specific (nature) site you feel I shouldn't miss: let me know!

As for covid: I'm a bettersafethansorry kind of guy, vaccinated up and down and I'll be as careful as you ask me to be. Not a problem.

I've tagged along with other couch surfers in the past and always had a blast.
Also: part of travel is meeting people, and what better way than this?

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Hitch-hiked *almost* coast to coast in Canada a couple of years back.
Spent a few weeks with nomadic shepherds in Mongolia. In winter. That was cool too.
Survived a pandemic. Probably.
