Overview
About Me
Trying to learn new things and appreciate the little things. I'm a bit chaotic (which can be funny but also worth crying), I like doing spontaneous things. Always open to the interests of others. Seeking a balance between alone time and social interactions. I like balfolk, ecstatic dance and 5Rhythms dance.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Love to connect to people all over the world. To enjoy the conversations and learn from other's experiences. I found out my most precious travelling memories include the people I met and their interesting stories (about anything). Not being afraid for the differences but just be open, this creates beautiful experiences.
How nice is it to explore a new place through the eyes of a local, instead of (only) experience it from a touristic perspective.

Music, Movies, and Books
Music: so many different styles :) I mostly listen to indie. But also rock, (psy)trance, soul, (Dutch) pop, cumbia, metal, classical etcetera. I listen to music every day (directly in the morning, before going to sleep and a lot of moments in between).
Books: I bought many that I still have to read, whoops. Most of them are non fiction.
Movies: like music, there's so much. I love arthouse, (romantic) drama, thriller and sci-fi.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Hosted an Italian girl for a year (Miky), who is still my friend. It was an awesome experience.
Teach, Learn, Share
Maybe you can teach me how to whistle, I can't do that! And whatever you think is nice for me to learn.
I can teach you things about Dutch culture, a balfolk dance or some random facts that might pop up.
We could let each other hear some nice music, that might be new to the other. And just talking and finding similarities between our stories is also nice :)
What I Can Share with Hosts
A warm welcome, a weird Simone-style tour, nice vegan food, the opportunity to be nothing more than yourself and conversations you'll hopefully enjoy and make you feel heard and connected.
