About Me

Born and raised in Siena, a small, yet beautiful, town in Tuscany. I found out the joy of travelling after my Erasmus experience in The Netherlands, where I finally realized that outside my small Siena there is an entire world to discover.
Recently graduated in Computer and Automation Engineering, I'm currently working in a company that develops automated systems for industrial plants.
Personally, I describe myself as a very social person, who likes to hook up with friends and always up to meet new people/travelers, staying around a fire with a guitar talking about travelling experiences is something I really love to do. Moreover, I consider myself a standalone persona, which is able to overcome difficulties relying just on his personal strength.
"You can do anything you set your mind to, man" (Eminem, Lose Yourself)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I believe travelers feed themselves with other travelers' stories and the CS community is exactly made up with this purpose. I was part of the CS community when I was in Rio and I've met such amazing and inspiring people who gave me new tips for my trips as well as recommendations about places to visit. So I'm here to enlarge my cultural baggage and grow as a traveler and as a person.

Music, Movies, and Books

I'm passionate about reggae music, that is the one I listen to the most. In general, though, the mood I feel in every specific situation strongly influences the choice of the genre. Sometimes I prefer listening to italian songs when, for example, I feel like screaming out loud the lyrics cause I'm particularly happy. Jazz jam sessions are also something I love to attend.

My favorite movie: The Shawshank Redemption
My favorite director: Quentin Tarantino
My favorite series: One Piece (anime)

About books, I was a keen reader several years ago, I dedicate less time now but I'm willing to start over. However, my favorite books are the romances.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Among others, I walked the Camino de Santiago on July 2015 and August 2016. It made me feel like I was living my life 4 times faster.
Also the period when I had dreadlocks has been a very mind-changing phase of my life.

Teach, Learn, Share

I learnt what the word "to share" means while I was living my erasmus experience. I was sharing the apartment along with 14 more flatmates coming from all over the world. We would have cooked, thrown parties, organized excursions...all together. I believe I'm still addicted to that mindset.

What I Can Share with Hosts

First, I can cook! I would be so glad to make my host try some italian lasagna or "pasta alla carbonara", you won't be disappointed! :)
Moreover, as I already said before, there's nothing better at the end of the day than sitting on the patio and sharing some memories...while having a beer.
