I always liked traveling, discovering new places and realities, but I always did it with friends and family without ever having the opportunity to meet locals.
Some time ago I was in Bonn to see a friend who was spending a year there to study.
That time, in addition to visiting the city, I had the opportunity to meet her local friends and really get into the culture and the "mood" of that place
For the first time I really felt like I was visiting a different place, for the first time I felt really close to those people, really inside that city

I think couchsurfing offers a fantastic opportunity to experience that kind of experiences,
the opportunity to travel (for real), connecting different people and cultures, and new friends.
