I'm Simone Zambon, I'm 30 and I born and grew up in Castronno, a little town near the city of Varese. What can i say about my self.. well, i'm a peaceful and sunny boy in the middle of the research of his own and his happiness.
I grew up in a small beautiful family, but I currently live in Oslo. I go mad for Reggae music but i like almost all the music types in general. I love the kindness, most when free. I love to see people exchange love to each other. Some years ago, after i visited Uganda, i started to feel the need to visit the world to meet and know new places, unknown people and cultures. I visited Senegal, Morocco, South Asia, some of the European capitals and the Caribbeans (Costa Rica, Panama, Colombia, Cuba) for 6 months

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

When I discovered Couchsurfing, I found in it the most useful and the cheapest way to be hosted. As I wrote in my presentation, i love the acts of free kindness between people. But now, I understand it gave me way more than this: it gave me the possibility to meet up with fantastic people, that taught and showed me many beautiful aspects and places of their town/country. With the majority of them, I am still in contact after years.
So, now that I have my own home, I want to keep enjoying this feeling by hosting people as well. We can have great chats, great hangs out and interesting cultural exchanges. I look forward to cook some of my best dishes for my next guest!

Music, Movies, and Books

I love very very much reggae music and other related genres like dancehall and caribbean music in general. I love african music as well. But I also like Rap, EDM, Techno, classical music, Italian music. I didn't watch so many films but i liked the thriller/mindfucker ones and also the wacky ones. I don't even read so many books.. mostly I read many many articles on the web.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Bungee Jumping.. i never thought i would have been able to do that and in fact i couldn't be, i just felt down from the tower like a wooden stick full of fear. Definitely i will not do that a second time. I did Sky Diving from 3.5km, super amazing, but not scaring as Bungee Jumping.
