Overview
About Me
Hello! My name is Simone, Italian biologist from Torino (Italy). After many years abroad where I worked as a postdoc researcher (France, Spain and Germany) I currently live in Torino, working as science teacher.
CURRENT MISSION:
Travel and discover the whole world! / Viaggiare e scoprire il mondo! / Voyager, quelle question!!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Everything started in 2013 when I lived in Muenster (Germany) for four months.
There, I met Shogo and Saul! Shogo, a young crazy japanese, always with his chopsticks, and Saul, a super strange mexican! They were my flatmates and was amazing to share my life with them. Together we met many people from different countries (let me say continents!) and completely different coltures. This experience really changed me a lot. After this period abroad I discovered how much big is the world and I didn't want to stop this positive wave! Few months later, thanks to my friend Giulia, I discovered Couchsurfing and I started to use it when I had to travel alone along Europe during my Phd. Krakow, Lisbon, Granada, Barcelona... are only few of the cities where local people showed me their "best places" and where I have found host and sometimes new friends. This is couchsurfing for me: the best way to travel alone and to meet new people somewhere far from home.
Now that I live in France I hope that couchsurfing will help me to meet new good friends and, if possible, will be my pleasure to host travellers in my small studio! :)
Hope to meet you soon ;)

Dearest Des,
I am writing this letter to
you as you leave for prison. And I've
hidden it in the one place you would
turn to in a moment of great desperation.
I know you go away with
the weight of what happened on your
shoulders. And I know the only
person who can ever take it off is
you. Sorry to be so dramatic, but
these are dramatic times, are they not?
Please don't give up, Des. Because
all we really need to survive is one
person who truly loves us.
And you have her. I will wait for
you. Always.
I Love you, Pen
