On our return to Germany in 2013 we both dared to start new professional carreers: him as a motorcycle journalist and me as a nurse for the elderly.
After those years on the road we really enjoyed a "regualar" life with our own appartment and the safety a country like Germany has to offer.
But meanwhile the Wanderslust became overhelming and we hit the road again in autumn 2017. The half year in winter we will spent riding through Spain, Portugal and Morocco and the summer half of the year we´ll explore the Caucasian Countries (Russia, Azerbaidschan, Armenia, Georgia).

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Cause we are on the road at the moment I hope to meet and visit people in all the countrys we will come trough durin the next months.
We don't want to rush trough all the countrys and want to see how the people live there, what they think and dream.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

We visited several people who are hosts at couchserving by invitations trough a motorcycleforum.
A really nice time we had with Ernesto from Montevideo,Uruguay.
We met first in Alaska on a campground and he invited us to visit him in Uruguay. We stayed with him and his wonderfull Family. He showed us around, took us to a Couchserving meeting where we met nice people and we felt like members of his family. As a present he gave we a pair of thick leather gloves, cause we thought it will get cold in Ushuaia, down in Patagonia. He got them as a present in the US, when he rode up to Alaska from a kind person he met. After we have been to the cold south I passed them on to a motorcycletraveller who got stolen his ones. He just had to promise to do the same when he don't need them anymore. Hopefully they are still on the journey...

Interests

Having a fire at a nice campspot at night, a glas of wine in the evening, best both together!
Visiting a nice concert (it has to be loud and fast music)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I'm so happy, that I can experience this around the world trip.
Every country is beautiful itself, so the people are.
And we saw so many fantastic places and met so many great and helpful people!!!
