Simone = slow talking/fast walking + thinker + creator + neurotic + distracted + Pisces + nice person + shy(sometimes) + crazy(sometimes) + hoarder (of rocks, postcards, mementos, earings, other pretty things) + feminist + cooking and eating

I am currently living in Montreal, doing an MA in Media Studies, and traveling around Poland and Lithuania rn.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I surfed couches when traveling in Europe a few summers ago and had incredible experiences - especially in Poland where I was hosted by some very generous and fun individuals, and in Berlin when I surfed under a picnic table on a beach (you can ask me for the whole story :).)

I also hosted some folks at my apartment(s) in Montreal, it was great fun but I ran out of time to host people :( .

Now I am traveling in Mexico and looking for hosts and people to hang out with!

Interessen

I have many interests that are often changing...but here it goes:

I am really interested in activism of all kinds, but especially feminist and gender justice activism, and its intersections with other social justice issues. I think I have a been a feminist since before I knew the word, but really, it infuses all parts of my life.

I also love having deep meaningful conversations with people about relationships, emotions, ideas, bodies.

Watching movies, staring off into space, writing, singing, finding green areas to sit in, writing, reading novels, traveling.

Musik, Filme und Bücher

Books/Authors: Too many too remember or put on a list, but very close to my heart are Simone de Beauvoire's The Second Sex, and most of Octavia Butler's work (and other feminist sci-fi authors, like Ursula Le Guin), feminist theory, literature...i love reading :)
