About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To maintain the wonder of a small child. To consume less, to live simply. To work towards a sustainable lifestyle. To let this world and it's people educate me. To be more humble, and more grateful. To find something I'm not looking for.
ABOUT ME
I was born in raised in Seattle, Washington, and have a deep special love for the northwest. I love the rain, I love lush green landscape, and living near the ocean. I also love the desert, and have spent the last few years living in Arizona, which has been a great experience. I recently finished 2 years at the motorcycle mechanics institute where I got certifications as a Harley Davidson Mechanic, and a Kawasaki Technician. Pretty cool stuff, but I don't really know if it's something that I can see myself doing long term. Truth is I have no idea what it is I really want to do. The only thing I'm sure of, is I want to travel, I want to climb, and I want to meet and connect with different people all over the world. I am eager to get out and experience all that life has to offer, and share those experiences with new people. Still trying to find my place in this world, but I am pretty much in love with the land, in love with climbing rocks, being outdoors, and connecting with new people. I want to learn more about organic/eco farming. I want to learn more about how other people live, around the world. I want to learn how to have a more sustainable, simple life. I want to contribute! I want to give and receive love, to make new family where ever I go. I would like to be of service and learn more about sustainable living; I want to learn through first hand experiences and I also want to be able to give service in other communities.
I am so excited and passionate about life , about new adventures, new experiences, traveling, rock climbing, back packing, exploring, sometimes I can't even fall asleep at night, sometimes I am overwhelmed with gratitude. I look foward to meeting you.
It doesn’t interest me what you do for a living I want to know what you ache for, and if you dare to dream of meeting your heart’s longing. It doesn’t interest me how old you are. I want to know if you will risk looking like a fool for love, for your dream, for the adventure of being alive. It doesn’t interest me what planets are squaring you moon. I want to know if you have touched the center of your own sorrow, if you have been opened by life’s betrayals, or have become shriveled and closed from the fear of further pain. I want to know if you can sit with pain, mine or your own, without moving to hide it, fade it, fix it. I want to know if you can be with joy, mine or your own, If you can dance with wildness and let the ecstasy fill you to the tips of your fingers and toes with out cautioning us to be careful, to be realistic, To remember the limitations of being human. It doesn’t interest me if the story you are telling me is true. I want to know if you can disappoint another to be true to yourself; if you can bear the accusation of betrayal and not betray your own soul, If you can be faithless, and therefore trustworthy. I want to know if you can see beauty, even when it’s not pretty, everyday, and if you can source your own life from it’s presence. I want to know if you can live with failure, yours and mine and still stand on the edge of the lake and shout to the silver of the full moon, “Yes!” It doesn’t interest me to know how much money you have. I want to know if you can get up after the night on grief and despair, weary and bruised to the bone, and do what needs to be done to feed the children. It doesn’t interest me to know who you know or how you came to be. I want to know if you will stand in the center of the fire with me and not shrink back. It doesn’t interest me where or what or with whom you’ve studied. I want to know what sustains you, from the inside, when all else falls away. I want to know if you can be alone with yourself, and if you truly like the company you keep, in the empty moments. -Oriah Mountain Dreamer-
I have a friend who reads people's auras. He sees all sorts of colors like green & red & purple. He says anyone can do it. All it takes is forgetting everything you think you know & just looking. I've tried it & even though I haven't seen any colors yet, everyone I meet looks so beautiful when I stop knowing everything, that it's pretty hard to go back to the old way
