About Me

I am a fun-loving, food-loving, people- and sun-loving guy living in Kreuzberg (Berlins most happening place) in my shared apartment together with my flatmate Louise from france. I'm open-minded, laid-back and a little crazy. Beeing independent is one of the most important things to me. Also to meet new people from all over the world and trying out new things. Enjoying life together with inspiring people has a very high priority to me.

I work as an innovation consultant in my own little innovation agency. So what we do is helping people finding and creating new ideas which is quite an exciting thing to do. At the moment we are trying to develop the town of the future. Whilst traveling I am very relaxed, and independent. I prefer catching the atmosphere of a place and enjoy the moments instead of hunting for checks on the list. Means I am pretty flexible. I am always in for a bottle of wine, good food and nice talks. The best way to get to know people a bit is when cooking together. So let's do that :)

Why I'm on Couchsurfing

I think Couchsurfing belongs to a good trip like a backpack. It is one of the most essential things when underway. Traveling means much more meeting people and getting inspired than just rushing from one place to an other. It is not the money one can save. It is the shared moments that make a trip richer. So that's why I host as well. When I do not have the chance to be on the road at least I would like to meet people who are.

Interests

My heart beats for traveling, meeting new cultures, new people, new places! Like everyone here right? But as long as I am in Berlin my hobby is the city and all it's opportunities. The music, the nightlife, the people, the culture, the arts, the architecture, the bars, the clubs, the food. I found my love for sailing and even have a little boat on a lake near Berlin. So if you wanna go on a little sail trip or just chill at the lake in summer... let's do it :) In winter I mostly go snowboarding in the alps. It is like an addiction. Oh, and if i find a good book and the time for it, I forget everything around me (excepting good food).

One Amazing Thing I've Done

One?

Teach, Learn, Share

Whatever skills you can teach me, I am up for it! And for you? Maybe I can teach you some methods in creative thinking, rather Design Thinking. That is a methodology that extracts the intuitive way of how designers solve problems and and adapts it as an institutionalized tool to all kind of problems. Design Thinking has nothing to do with aesthetical design. It is a mind-set and a tool for the problem solving process, taught at the the Stanford University and the Potsdam Univerity where I studied. I am a Design Thinking Coach so if you are looking for inspiration or new ideas... I might be able to help you.
