I'm a 23-year old Viennese local, who is currently studying at Technical University of Vienna. Exept for studying and working (the mostly exhausting things in live), I am a fan of cooking with friends, going out for a beer or dancing, doing sports, going to the movies and all the different activities one can do in and around Vienna.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Hanging out with locals is far nicer than visiting a city as "normal" tourist. It's great that couchsurfing connects people and gives travellers the oportunity to experience foreign countries in a different way.

So my main intention of using couchsurfing.com is meeting new people, getting some advice from locals and having nice conversations. (Who knows - maybe there are friendships to be formed aswell.)

Unfortunately we can't host at the moment, because our flat is too small and we currently don't own a couch. But as soon as something changes I will be happy to welcome travellers in beautiful Vienna.

I love spreading some knowledge of austrian culture and the german language. For example I have a few austrian cooking recipies in mind, that can be tried out.

For my part I would be happy to learn about culture and lenguage of the country I'm currently visiting, but in general I soaking up every bit of knowledge that is provided.
