About Me

Hi ! My name is Sinan, I am a student in Utrecht, I started studying Artificial Intelligence in February !

I am quiet, organized, funny and easy-going.
I like sports (climbing, skiing, parkour ..), meditation, chess, music and travelling.
I speak English, French and a little bit of Spanish!
I play guitar in a band, I play digeridoo sometimes.
I don't smoke, I cook good food, especially desserts so if you like chocolate, I am your man!

Hope to meet you soon :)

Cheers!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I want to learn from people and different cultures.

I am now looking for people that could give me a short-term accomodation in Utrecht!
But I have planned to welcome people as well as soon as I have a fixed living place ^^

Music, Movies, and Books

My music of the moment is Iron Sky by Paulo Nutini but it is impossible to put here what kind of music I listen to..
I love all styles of music. I started with Pop-Rock.. Linkin Park, Sum41, Blink182.. Then I moved in older rock.. Pink Floyd, LedZeppelin, DeepPurple.. then I had a Dubstep - Trap period.. then a lot of chillstep.. then I came back to rock, blues and jazzy vibes. Now I listen to a lot of ambient music, Post-rock but also some grime..

Favourite Movies.. probably Matrix or Interstellar.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I try to love my surrounding as much as possible on a daily basis.

I don't know.. I worked in a monkey rescue centre for a couple of weeks.

Teach, Learn, Share

I would say to know oneself is the most important thing.
To me, life is a game. I think the extent to which we are free can be scary. The system makes us believe that we are tied but it's just a mental prison. Just like Plato's cavern.
The question we should ask ourself is the following;
Are we willing to let go of what we know in order to explore the unknown? This very question pushed evolution to where it is now. Maybe necessity pushes us out of our boundaries. Maybe it is something else. Curiosity?

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can make good music and good food! I like mind-blowing conversations.
