ABOUT ME
After spending 20 years learning then teaching with only small breaks for travelling, I thought it was time for a big trip. So I did that in 2008 and enjoyed Couchsurfing: http://www.travelpod.com/travel-blog-entries/sinc/1/1211253720/tpod.html .
I have hosted a little bit while living in London, and traveled a lot since. I met my wife, Peggy in 2008 and have moved to the USA to live with her.
PHILOSOPHY
Agnosticism about most things, ie. who knows? Except for: happy = good, suffering = bad. Applying that idea gets pretty complicated. Generally un-phased. Saganism.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I've been using Couchsurfing on and off for 7 years now, plus a bit of hosting in London.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
So far so good!
Interests
Ukulele! Films, music, travel and physics geekery would also get on the list. Carl Sagan and his teachings are probably up there too.

Coen brothers' films, 90s British Indie, futuristic distopia novels.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
On a hot still summer's day in Devon, waiting for a lift, I saw one bit of cut hay in the nearby field lift in to a massive spinning column a full 20 feet in the air.
