Why I’m on Couchsurfing

To meet open minded and open hearted people. (They sort of go hand in hand) . Its important as a solo traveller, to be part of a safe community where I can share my own experiences and wisdom while also learning and hearing about other people's experiences too. Personally I always prefer to stay with local people where possible as to have a more authentic experience and not get stuck in tourist traps. I also encouarage the same when people come to visit my home country in Ireland
