Overview
About Me
I'm not able to host in Joensuu atm due to traveling & lack of space.
I’m calm, reliable and kind. I'd also describe myself as open-minded and curious. I'd love to hear your story!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I think Couchsurfing is a great way to get to know new people, share a few moments with them, maybe even create life-time friendships.
Interests
My interest and hobbies change all the time, but they usually have something to do with dance, music or languages. There are months when I have many hobbies and months when I just concentrate on eating and being lazy on my free time.
I love volunteer projects: for example volunteering for my town's rock festival is such a great experience every year.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
In spring 2016, I traveled to Izhevsk, Russia (Udmurtia), to meet my Finnish friend who was doing an internship there. I traveled over 30 hours by train with very little knowledge of Russian language. I had a delightful conversation with a toddler (we learnt the names of colors in Russian and he climbed in to my lap and tried to grab my glasses). In Udmurtia, we visited an Udmurtian village, where we learnt to bake traditonal Udmurtian pies called "perepech". Russian and Udmurtian hospitality that I encountered during the trip was truly worth all the hours on the train. After this trip I decided I want to travel more and get to know different corners of the world.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach you some basic Finnish phrases or how to bake Karelian pasties (a Finnish traditional food).
I'm happy to learn what ever it is you want to teach me.
