About Me
Hello. I'm Sion (pronounced Shon). I'm a 26 year old guy, looking to explore the world! I am a student at my local junior college about to transfer to a 4 year Uni. Before returning to school I got my CDL and was working briefly as a cross-country truck driver. I really love meeting knew people, sitting and talking over tea/beer. I enjoy learning new languages, reading, going on walks. It's very hard to some up ones self in a single paragraph! Ask me a question and I will answer!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Well I have always wanted to travel, but I have never thought I'd be able to because it can be so expensive to do so. Now that found ways to get around some costs I'm very excited to do some traveling! Another reason I'm interesting in couchsurfing is i get to meet locals and make new friends hopefully.

Music, Movies, and Books
music: pretty much all music, except for maybe American Country music. I like Classic rock to Metal and Screemo to Folk, Jazz, Classical, Rap, Hip hop and R&B. I especially love music that is not in English as I think that listening to the Music of the languages you are studying is one of the best ways to learn a language. I love some kpop like GD and TOP, jrock Dir en Grey is my favorite, I like classical Japanese music. I like music from Bollywood.
Books: mostly fantasy things like harry potter, Narnia. I like some more adult writing like the vampire chronicles from Anne Rice, and the southern vampire series that true blood is based on (I actually really disliked how the show was done XD), I like reading biographies of interesting people I have been reading one about Thomas-Alexandre Dumas.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
not quite sure what to put down! ummm... Well I saved some baby ducks that fell through a drain grate and were stuck. But if that isn't amazing enough I drove a tractor-trailer Truck through the Rocky Mountains in the winter and was stuck for about a week due to an avalanche. It wasn't as exciting as it sounds lmao. I hope to be adding more amazing thing to this list!
