ABOUT ME

I love conversation. You learn the most from a good conversation. I like to think as well, and there is much to learn in persisting in your thoughts and making a discovery. I would like to think I'm a good friend, though not a perfect one. I enjoy helping people as well, which is why I studied Social Work to be a professional helper. I love anything poetic, even the raindrops that are shaped by strong wind. I am also love God because He has graciously allowed me to have a relationship with Him, and that has made all the difference!

Also, please note that I am currently based in St. Louis and not Singapore.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I cannot say that I've hosted anyone because it is practically impossible for me. But I hope that the couches I've surfed were pleasantly warmed by me, through friendship and conversation.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Several surfing experiences so far. Most have been very enjoyable. I especially enjoyed having long conversations over meals and wine/tea! Sharing cultures and stories, learning each other's languages, and simply being welcomed by people you've never met. It's very comforting for any traveller.

Interests

I've learnt the piano for about 11 years. I absolutely love it and wished I had the time to continue learning. I also play soccer occasionally, though I am extremely unfit for now. I've tried dance before, not particularly good because I was never trained, but I do appreciate and enjoy it. I love nature, because it is God's creation. And I am generally curious about how people see the world, or rather, their world.
