For two partners in crime to trip the road into guiding us to N. California for a summer adventure!

ABOUT ME

My good friend Richard and I live in Asheville, NC--one attendee and one graduate from UNC-Asheville. We have found ourselves willing to leave our comfortable home among the eclectic and bizarre to endeavor on a summer trip. We plan on heading out to N. California to work on an organic farm (WWOOF). We also hope to travel around and explore while in our east to west coast stride (and then back again). We are a very open and friendly duo, looking to embark on a journey--and would love the company and experiences along the way!

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I fully enjoy the spark of excitement that surfers bring into a house, especially when they're passing through on a road trip. While they bring in a dose of excitement and stories, and we gladly host a place to crash and a town to explore.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Haven't surfed just yet, but our house has had a few surfers pass through and it's always been fun having the opportunity to share a piece of our home and city with new-comers. It makes for a very rewarding experience--meeting friends while also gaining appreciation for our own surroundings.

兴趣

I love plants and I love beer...and I love that plants are used to make beer. Playing outside, kicking it with kids, talking in accents, photographs, swinging on swings. Making, serving, and eating food...Who's on clean-up duty?

I would love to share some cooking and crafts--I swear there's an old lady inside me just itching to get out and take over. Richard is an amazing photographer with great taste in music, he even comes equipped with a pacemaker.

We truly are little kids in spirit and elderly in habit. We could teach you how to become a member of the Geriatric Partner's In Crime!
