About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Flip your perspective: do a handstand!

ABOUT ME

I love to meet new people and indirectly gain perspective on life while partying around this lil blue/green planet - I try to meditate every day and the longest I've ever gone without a big laugh/smile was for the 4 hours when I visited Aushwitz... ok, sorry for making you depressed right there.

PHILOSOPHY

I love living a very healthy lifestyle: I am a vegetarian, I love to excercise and get up early (even though I stay up late), I don't smoke, but I drink alcohol sometimes.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I just signed up for CS and haven't met anybody yet, but this looks like a marvelous idea.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

This is my virgin run, I've just heard good things from other travelers so far along my journey, so let's see how it goes!

Interests

For fun, I love sports like basketball and golf, I'm a really good billiards pool player. I live at a meditation/yoga ashram in a beautiful part of Northern California where people from all over the world come for spiritual inspiration and personal development.

Music, Movies, and Books

I really enjoy hearing hip hop artists in languages that I don't understand :-)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I was in New York during 9/11 - staying in a high rise NYU dorm on Waterstreet less than 4 blocks from the Towers: if they fell like trees instead of (suspiciously) like a controlled demo, it would've easily knocked us over! To make a very long and interesting story short: I had to remove my contact lenses after we were evacuated due to the soot/ash in the air, and I ended up walking around NY holding hands with a helpful girl named Kirsten that I met while "blind" - we ended up staying with some of her family members in a nice house in New Jersey for 3days before I was finally able to get replacement contacts and found out that I'd been staying with Kirsten Dunst!

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach about life and happiness, it is my ever-ending quest to attain absolute perspective of this human life while being trapped with the limitations of individual perspective - this is why I'm traveling and meeting as many new people as possible!
