CURRENT MISSION
To be cheap and awesome.
ABOUT ME
Wow, how exactly to start this. I like to think I'm the responsible person who plays like a kid. I still enjoy climbing trees, I play Quidditch (yes, Harry Potter. You read that right.), I play Human VS. Zombie. I also live out of my planner, arrive an hour early to work and fifteen minutes early to meetings.
PHILOSOPHY
"All it takes is all you got."

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
It may not be that amazing to you, but I love this story. Well, there's two. One, I was playing Human VS. Zombie on campus (think campus-wide game of tag. Or google the rules.). I was a lone human walking on campus, and I survived an ambush of seven zombies.
Story B. My dorm organized a trip to go kayaking on Lake Michigan. It was the first time I'd ever really gone kayaking (though, to be honest, I accidentally ran over an instructor when I lost control of my kayak at a summer camp one time. But that was in a pool).
My friend and I agreed to use the tandem one. Ready, set, go. Everyone pushed off. My friend and I ran ours off the beach and followed suit. We capsized almost immediately. I popped to the surface laughing hysterically. We tried again, and again. Each time, I laughed and my friend frowned. After the fourth time, he insisted we split into our own kayaks--thinking I was the problem.
Whether I was or wasn't, I love that memory, because every time I surfaced, I was so happy just to be trying that nothing could keep me from smiling.
Teach, Learn, Share
I know a few ways to get free shows in Chicago (if you don't mind doing a little bit of work beforehand). I'm always up for a new restaurant or cafe with some conversation.
