ABOUT ME

I enjoy meeting new people, even if I seem a bit shy at first. My friends tend to laugh when they hear people say that I am quiet as they have known me to stay up quite late into the night chatting.

兴趣

I am an aspiring mobile educator. I worked in IT for 10+ years and recently made a switch to teaching. I really enjoy traveling and am fortunate to have a partner who is much better organized than I am and arranges for us to travel fairly frequently.

I have a very soft spot for SciFi and generally have some sort of fiction book (usually sf) going at all times. I know way more than I probably should about LOTR and light up when talk turns to Dr Who.

There are very few sites more welcome than going into a passive solar greenhouse with snow on the ground and finding green things growing in there, surviving the freezing temperatures with very little of our help.

I loved Amsterdam! A place that embraces bicycling as they do is a place for me.

I have a number of skills in farming and homesteading types of activities. I bake a pretty decent loaf of bread.

I find a large number of things interesting which is probably why I have so many hobbies that I'm not terribly good at but enjoy doing. I'm happy to add to that collection.
