About Me

Moments of Zen & a rush of excitement.

To keep it short & sweet. I'm a short British born chinese man.

To live and appreciate. Any whisper of a thrill.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

When I host, I enjoy spending time with the people I host, especially first timers to Hong Kong. With every person I interact with, if it's hosting, surfing or from people I meet in events. I always learn or experience someone new.

If you're an outdoors person wanting to see the natural beauty of Hong Kong there are many different hiking trails I can take you all over Hong Kong from easy walks, tough hikes and to the really adventurous!

Even if you're not into hiking, I like to help my hosts have a great experience, I can give you a simple tour of places that are free, show you the city from different high spots, places you can shop for your needs or giving simple advice.

Many of my best travel memories is from surfing and hosting. I enjoy attending local CS events & meetups.

Hiking, exploring, adventuring, diving, snorkelling, collecting nik-naks & random natural inanimate objects, movies, my kinda music, food lover & trying to cook ;P, whiskey & drinking, fitness, photography (with my Gopro!!) indulging, chilling out, living like a cat with moments high on sugar.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: Ambient, Electronica and Post-Rock Music, like the band Hammock or Mogwai. Otherwise pretty open as long as it's not rapping or sounds like a cat being strangled.

Movies: Mostly Sci-fi/Action. I spend much of my time commuting so I watch many different TV shows to pass the time while traveling. Some my favourite examples of shows includes: Breaking Bad, Hannibal, House of Cards, Game of Thrones....etc

& Books: Not much of a reader because I'm very Dyslexic.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Road trip of Japan, hosted by my Japanese local CS friend. **This man organises trips throughout the year, I highly recommend you check it out! In my friends list find "Mochan WISH CLUB"**

Nepal ~ Annapurna Circuit. **If you want a trusted local tour operator for Nepal, Annapurna, Himalayas, EVB etc. Message "Hem Mugrati" in my friends list**

Diving with Whale Sharks in Cebu, Oslob, Philippines.

Otherwise always spoilt for seeking great adventures.

Teach, Learn, Share

I learn and experiencing whatever I can. Always seeking inspiration from people and places I go.

I enjoy giving hospitality. I will be happy to help anyone who wants to improve their English speaking skills (British English).

What I Can Share with Hosts

I am not the person who will turn up with some random cheap gift to say thanks, and that's it...I take interest to the person that host me. I enjoy to spend time with my host and give fair exchange in hospitality however I can.
