ABOUT ME

having to fill in a box that is labelled "all about you" is kind of scary,but i shall try my best..
been living in london for the past 3,4 years and immensely enjoy my (student) life here. however, i haven't yet come round to travel much in the uk and being a poor student doesn't help. but i hope that this will now change soon!
characterwise i'd describe myself as a nice person to be around (but then again who wouldn't).
i'm down to earth and pretty level headed but am also pleasantly crazy and confused at times and i do like to have fun just as much as the next student (minus the excessive boozing maybe)

PHILOSOPHY

so there's this saying that i halfway remember which says that every moment of sadness is a moment of happiness wasted (or something along those lines,maybe a tad less soppy)
i'm all about allowing yourself to be low/angry/annoyed every now and again and to show it when you feel it,but once you've vented your anger etc. you should let it go,move on and be happy instead.
life's no fun when you're grumpy.

i find couchsurfing an amazing concept and would like to surf around a bit and later host people, when i feel comfortable enough.

i'm studying comparative literature and therefore books are naturally one of my passion.
i also have the ocassional inspiration to do something creative but like the normal stuff like going to the movies etc too.
i'm also part of a boxing club and would like to get good enough to compete soon.

music: robyn, johnny cash, tracy chapman, hooters, the smiths as well as some german musicians/bands like peter fox, fettes brot, seeed, die ärzte

books: it's easier for me to give authors i enjoy like ephraim kishon and robert merle, franz kafka, jorge luis borges but there are many books that have had their impact on me
